Banjo Clocks

Banjo Clocks

Banjo clocks are easily recognized and typically noted for their round head, center throat, often with sidearms, and rectangular base. They usually have reverse painted glass with geometric patterns in the throat and a stately residence or maritime scene in the bottom glass. Other shapes exist with most of them resembling a stringed instrument.
