Tooling

An ROV with a three jaw grabber moves in to
recover a stranded ROV from 300 meters.

A manipulator is the most common type of tooling, but measurement jigs or other attachments can be found. For specific applications such as aquaculture, nets and cavitation cleaning heads are also used. The tooling that an ROV can support is often dependent upon the payload capabilities of the ROV.
